FAQs

What is the dress code for your wedding?

I hate dress code lingo. Are semi-formal and cocktail synonymous? How about this: try to avoid flip-flops, shorts, and T-shirts. As long as you’re comfortable being photographed next to formally dressed wedding party members and the bride and groom in what you’re wearing, it’s fine.

November in Phoenix can have a pretty wide temperature range. It will likely be comfortably cool in the afternoon, but it can start to get chilly in the evening. We will have shawls available for you to wear and take home, but if you know you’re a person who gets cold easily, dress appropriately.

Can I bring a plus-one?

If you are permitted to bring a plus-one, it will be denoted on your individual invitation and reflected when you search your party on the RVSP portal. Please enter the name of your guest when you RSVP.

Can I take photos?

You are more than welcome to take all the photos you like during the welcome drinks, cocktail hour, and reception, but we ask that you refrain from taking any photos during the ceremony. Photographers are silly expensive, and they’re gonna get better photos than you anyway. We will post a digital album online when the professional photos become available for viewing.

What is the venue’s accessibility?

We have invited several of our grandparents with limited mobility to our wedding. We will be providing dedicated seating for their use during the cocktail hour. Please be sure to make this seating available if anyone with limited mobility needs it. Additionally, the ceremony, reception and cocktail hour are all in grassy areas. We would recommend avoiding any stiletto heels or anything that will not support you in a grassy environment.

Are children welcome?

Children are, generally speaking, discouraged from attending. Your invitation will note whether your children are invited.

Will there be vegetarian/gluten-free food options?

A mobile pizza oven caterer is providing dinner. There will be vegetarian pizza available, but no gluten-free pizza options. Salad will be served alongside pizza, and there will be a gluten-free option. Appetizers served during cocktail hour will have both vegetarian and gluten-free options.

Am I invited to the Rehearsal Dinner?

The rehearsal dinner will be for the wedding party only. If you’re invited to the rehearsal dinner, you will be prompted to confirm your attendance when you RSVP. Additional information about the rehearsal dinner will be communicated directly with invitees.

Is there someone I can contact if I have any other questions about the wedding?
